The Law Offices of Robert M Casale is a boutique criminal defense firm that specializes in representing individuals and businesses in white-collar criminal investigations and prosecutions. The firm sub-specializes in the defense of federal capital prosecutions.  By concentrating our practice into these distinct areas, we offer experienced, knowledgeable and cost-effective representation. Attorney Casale has tried approximately 135 criminal cases, including nine capital murder trials, in jurisdictions throughout the United States. His trials have ranged in duration from a few days to more than five months and have involved such diverse charges as RICO, VICAR, CCE, ITSP, tax fraud, obstruction of justice, wire fraud, securities violations, and first-degree murder.  Among numerous notable results, he obtained an acquittal for Danny Stewart on charges of capital felony murder and sexual assault, secured not guilty verdicts on all homicide charges against Luke "Mega" Jones in the first federal death penalty prosecution in the District of Connecticut in 60 years, and successfully defended the first Sarbanes-Oxley prosecution for obstruction of justice brought against an attorney for destroying "potential evidence" under 18 U.S.C. section 1519.

Attorney Casale has also briefed and argued 30 civil and criminal appeals to state and federal appellate courts, and tried more than 20 civil cases.

In 1988, attorney Casale was admitted with special permission to represent an American citizen accused of soliciting murder in a criminal trial court in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
